Sometimes the truth is worse than what we have imagined and sometimes there's proof of that. The Cold War inspired countless strange and even dangerous government projects that only came to light years after the projects were shutdown. The new series on Netflix, "Stranger Things" has been partially inspired by some of these real government projects. If you have, or haven't, seen the show don't worry, we're not going to spoil the show and we're really not even going to dwell on it much, but we are going to list real government projects that you'd never believe really happened that helped to inspired the show, this week on The Pop List.
