Urban Legends are, for the most part, our way of passing on cautionary tales of warning against dangerous or harmful experiences. They are the modern version of the medicine man's wise advice and they are passed from generation to generation as both a form of entertainment, and a form of self preservation for a younger generation. Most of them are made up or horribly exaggerated tales of what can go wrong in the most mundane of situations. But when you take a closer look through the annals of the Urban Legend library you will occasionally run into one or two that aren't merely inspired by true events but are indeed completely and utterly true. In this episode we've collect five of these types of Urban Legends and we've presented here like pretty little maids in a row, just for you out faithful listener.
